Pekka Ala-Pietilä
Pekka Ala-Pietilä, né en 1957, est un dirigeant chevronné dans le domaine des technologies et un photographe.
La photographie est un passe-temps qui lui tient à cœur depuis longtemps, et il y a dix ans, son intérêt s’est considérablement approfondi. Sa grand-mère photographiait dans les années 1920 et 1930 – principalement des personnes – laissant derrière elle une importante collection d’images à contempler pour les générations futures. Plus tard dans sa vie, elle s’est orientée vers la peinture, un tournant qui a marqué durablement le jeune garçon en lui montrant l’importance du renouveau personnel.
Aujourd’hui, Pekka Ala-Pietilä se consacre au portrait d'art et à la photographie de rue en noir et blanc. Sa première exposition personnelle a eu lieu à Paris, à la galerie Espace Thorigny – Le Marais, au printemps 2022. À la suite de cette exposition, un livre intitulé Dr Heisenberg, me and the meaning of life (Siltala 2023) a été publié.
